It all began in 1995 with the founding of Kim Construction, under the visionary leadership of Mr. Efren Ramirez. Starting humbly from his residence in Batangas City, the company quickly established its reputation in construction, supply, and equipment rentals. Through strategic partnerships with several esteemed construction firms, Kim Construction took an active role in notable projects throughout Batangas Province, showcasing its ability to supervise and manage complex initiatives with success.
One of the standout projects included the construction of the Jet A1 Storage Facility in Pinamucan, Batangas, in collaboration with Build Erect Corporation. Additionally, the rehabilitation of the Water Works System in Batangas City, completed with New San Jose Builders, became a hallmark of their expertise. When a joint venture unfolded between Shimizu and FFCruz to create the Star Toll Way connecting Lipa to Balagtas, Kim Construction was entrusted with a key role, cementing its status as a trusted partner in the industry.
In 2006, Mr. Ramirez took a pivotal step by working abroad, temporarily pausing his construction endeavors to broaden his horizons. Upon returning, he tapped into the hospitality industry, strategically launching hotels, resorts, water stations, an ice manufacturing plant, a laundry service, and a convenience store in Batangas City and Calapan, Oriental Mindoro. Impressively, Mr. Ramirez personally oversaw the construction of these hotel buildings, ensuring the highest quality and design. After a few transformative years, Mr. Ramirez reignited his passion for construction and re-established his business, putting his equipment back to work. He proudly renamed it Efren Ramirez Construction and General Services (ERC), ready to build a brighter future with the same dedication and excellence that has defined his journey.
